21!
Yep, we've been logged in at CCAA for 21 looong months! Now that CCAA is finally working on December of '05, maybe we'll see some real progress this month with referrals. There is a rumor over on RQ that CCAA has matched through the 10th! I'm not even going to get excited about this one! But I am crossing everything I can possibly cross that this is the case! There is also a thread over on RQ that talks about January '06 already being matched. If this is true, then how sad is it that our dossier could have a photo of our daughter attached to it and it is just sitting on somebody's desk collecting dust! Even more disturbing is to think that whether we've been matched or not, our daughter could possibly be sitting in a crib (with no mattress) cold, hungry, or wet with no one to tend to her! While we are here just dying to hold her, feed her, comfort her, play with her, keep her warm, and most importantly, LOVE her! I try not to think about that so much as we pray every day for the opposite: That she is being well cared for in her SWI or, even better, in a loving foster care home. Every night we pray that her guardian angel will whisper in her little ear, "Mama and baba are coming, just hold on a little longer."

Hi Diane and Gary,
Glad to see you are posting again. We will follow your blog closely while we are in Colombia because I think good news is going to come for you soon!
Your mom, family, and precious Kaelin continue to be in our prayers.

Panda hugs, Diane! My heart is aching for you...you and your family have been through so much lately. I'm saying a little prayer for your mom - I wish I could be there to give you some in-person Panda love...I wish there was something I could do to make this a little easier!
Panda hugs,
Karen
Karen, your heartfelt thoughts and prayers are comforting. Even if they aren't in person! I know that they are truly genuine because you are such a sweetheart!
Panda Hugs back,
Diane
We are right there with you. Hang in there, our time is getting closer to our forever families.

Just a little thought... we are former pandas who changed to WC/SN and got our daughter in July. We were able to see her orphanage and were amazed by the love the nannies had for her and the other children. They were genuinely happy to see her with her new family! It was the highlight of our trip. It gave me so much peace about her first 2 years!!! If you want to see our visit, see July 19 on our blog! Still eager to see when Jan 06 comes up!
Diane, I am playing catch up today and reading all the blogs I have missed recently. Hang in there we are getting closer and all our babies will be home soon.
Panda Hugs to you and your family
Susan
