We went to the zoo today and boy was it hot! We could only stay 1 hr because the temp was around 100 and so was the humidity! We nearly melted away! Baby Bing had sweat dripping off of her and since she will not take water from a bottle I was having to give her mouthfuls from the cap of the water bottle! There was only one panda and his habitat was very sad, only a small cage with a little pool of water!
This is why I hate zoos! Many of the animals had very small habitats especially the dophins, positively heartbreaking!
We shopped again, today! We have made friends with many of the store owners and they love Baby Bing! They give her free stuff because she is so cute! They are always saying "Lucky baby, Lucky baby! The truth is, we are the lucky ones! Lucky Mama and Baba!

I see you've made it into Ben's Gallery and Michael's Place. Have you found From China With Love and the E-Gallery? I thought they had some unusual things. I think its hotter now, than when we were there 2 weeks ago...so much for Fall!

You will get the lucky baby comments for years to come!! And people staring trying to figure it out. Most folks mean well and you get used to it. Bing is fortunate to have you and you her. God never makes mistakes. Funny how we always get the children meant just for us. Isn't it a miracle and so wonderful!

I hate zoos. The panda reserve in Chengdu was really wonderful!!
I hope we can avoid the zoo when we're there. I'm the same way with them as you, Di. Too sad. We cannot be more please for you guys ! Can't wait till you are back home and we can get all the dirt.
